Embedded Systems

Wireless Data Logging Platform for Human Temperature and Pulse Rate with Networked Mobile Nodes

Designed a wireless communication system between a control server and a SEPIC Boost Converter supplied mobile nodes equipped with sensors for human vital signs gathering. Each node is given an ID and can be remotely controlled thru the server for settings in data gathering interval and maintenance.

MMDC Micro-climatic Assessment

A multi-climatic parameter datalogger deployed at Marcventures Mining and Development Corporation, Carrascal, Surigao del Sur. Such data are necessary input in the rehabilitation plan; a requirement mandated by the The Philippine Mining Act of 1995 and Executive Order 79 prior to releasing mining permit.

FastLink

A mobile datalogger for elderly individual which monitors pulse rate and SPO2 levels at a fixed interval. Such readings are monitored in such a way that the device automatically transmits its location via GSM into the Emergency Monitoring System (EMS) when readings are beyond normal range.

Task Tracker App

A React Typescript sample implementation of a task tracker. Listed below are the technologies used:

Smart Device Tracker (Ongoing)

A sample implementation of a GPS tracker using ESP8266 communicating with a server via MQTT. Server to be built using Python FastAPI.

Employee Temperature Checker

An automated employee temperature (MLX90614) checking upon tapping the RFID. Uses Raspberry Pi to enable visualization using a monitor.

CIT-U 12th Research Congress Panel

Invited as a panelist for both paper and poster presentation in the 12th Cebu Institute of Technology – University Research Congress last June 8, 2023.
